Jane hissed as she looked at her phone. How can he not call, at least to explain why he is not coming?
Jane wondered how long she will allow Martin to keep her waiting like this every time. This is the fifth time in a row. She shook her head and stood up to level the eatery she had entered to meet with him. Without looking at where she was going, she walked into a solid wall, she looked up to look at the wall and saw it was a human. Her mind must be very muddled not feel it was a human body.
"Hey, watch where you are going." The muscle wall said as she tried to detach herself from his hold.
" I am sorry. Sorry to bump into you like that"
"It's okay. My name is Blake." He said with a dazzling smile that showed set of teeth made for toothpaste adverts.
Jane felt her face flame up as she blushed and shook his hand. "I am Jane. Nice to meet you. I have to run now."
Before she could escape the eyes that looked like he saw everything, he said, "can I get your contact, I would like to share bumping experience over a glass of juice sometime."
Jane felt all her guards go up, she knows his kind she thought.
"It's a harmless drink between two people who wants to get to know each other." Blake said with hands raised briefly in defense
Jane narrowed her eyes in suspicion and
Called her number while he saved it in his phone. Jane noticed a gleam in his eyes as she continued on her way out of the eatery. She felt goose bumps in response to the gleam.
That was the beginning of the end of her story, Jane thought as she laid on a hospital bed in an unknown town surrounded by unfamiliar face. Martin was the devil she knew but now see where the angel she didn't know in the form of Blake landed her.
