'The proposal' 

This blinding sight,borne everyday, 

while you travel the street and my eyes trail

the lyrical movement of your feet up to your hips,

meeting the rhythm and harmony of your waist beads. 

Let only your thoughts rush my heart,

  Like the onrush of air when the whirlwind dances on the face of the earth. 

Only your memories force  a smile, clearing wrinkles on my face, 

like the flower and its fragrance beautifies and modifies the vase. 

  I built a garden of love in me, 

Where from I plucked this rose of peace.

Take it, for it is my heart, 

and let the thoughts of all these being dreams die!

Take my hands and come with me,  as we skip past hurdles and barriers. 

Swim across tempestuous oceans and seas, until we've arrived finally at the peak of peace, this utopia.  

Give me a place to lie comfortably in your heart, lemme find rest in your abode. 

Let us fly high, leaving behind old times, and a sweet unison be birthed in our souls.  

   'The acceptance' 

Love came like an uninvited guest, 

With sparkling teeth queened with a smile that gainly implied it's zest, 

It sauntered with its double padded shoulders and acted as though it owned the entire room,

My insides churned even more because it came in the form of you.

Strong and high did I meticulously place the little bricks that formed my walls,

  I was confident that never would anyone see behind those shut doors, 

But then you came and stole from me what I thought was mine and no one else's, 

And I wondered if along with my heart, you decided to take my senses.

Keeper of my heart, forever I wish to celebrate our love, valentine's just not enough,

  I want to stay in your secure arms while you call the entire world's idea of love a bluff, 

To stare into your eyes and see your affection staring back at me in it's purest form, 

So I'll be able to sing on high mountains about how our love is so different from the nor.

Because, when I found you, i found love.
