I sat at the Port of exit, waiting for the time, t. By this time I know everyone would be running helter skelter looking for me, the police will leave no stone unturned. My human friends who be so worried about my whereabouts. I remember one occasion, my friend Marcel's son had gone missing, later on those holding him demanded a ransom to release him. Cruelty is against what my kind stand for, so I had to demand support from my kind and save the kid. The rescue was supposed to be smooth but one of the abductors decided to be smart, the game changed, I had to come out in my full nature to access my complete powers. After securing the kid, I turned and I saw Jenny. Without thinking about it a second, I disappeared with the kid so I can reappear at the point where the kid's parents can pick him up.
Nevertheless, my stay on Earth is done. It hurts to leave all the humans I have come to care about. I couldn't forget the look on Jenny's face, when she finally saw me for who I am. She looked baffled and withdrew from me when I stretched forth my scaly flaming hand towards her. In my alien skin, it was impossible to speak human language. Everything he tried to say came out garbled so he had to change back to human form which made him vulnerable. He didn't see one of the abductors move until he had a bullet in his side. Jenny rushed immediately, she tried to call an ambulance but he had to stop her, human machines will not recognize him and he wasn't ready to become a lab rat.
Jenny had followed his instructions on what to do to assist him. He had to change back to alien nature to aid his healing while Jenny watched, her hands clenched before her.
It's a pity though, because I have come to love her in my own capacity. My earthly body was already wearing away and my alien nature show at moments I am not prepared for. The last assault to it, took a lot from me and I needed to go back since my mission was done.
The mission was simple. Look ahead for troubles, protect the people. But now I need to go
