Mirror on the wall,

Can you depict what lies within us?
The expressions you reflect does not always
sum up what we truly look like,

To the world, we might be beautiful
but deep down, we know we're vile.
We can smile when we're hurt,
we can even feign love when all we've got is hate.

We could wish for our friend to fall
So we'd pick him up and say sorry
when as a matter of fact
we want him to stay down,

To get into public offices,
We can fool the whole world;
Feed them with fairy tales and
laugh at their gullibility once the seat is ours.

Mirror on the wall,

Why can't you show us
what evil we possess?
Reveal the ugliness of our soul
whenever we look into you
to admire our so-called beauty.

Ignore this facade we call flesh and show us what we truly are.
