Dear Mara,

Tears have soiled this paper,
but I must not stop writing
since the things I intend to pen down
will forever define you and I,

Can you see I've changed your name?
I did because you made me bitter
For you've shown me the best and you've
also proven to be the worst thing
that will ever happen to me.
We climbed this height together but
now I've to climb down and alone,

Do you remember how I begged?
How I told you not to let go, not to give up.
I cried, told you how our love and life
came about and how we promised
to spend every moment together,

Mara,
It was easy for you to leave me
but it's been hard for me to get over you.
I'm trying though, to let you exist in the past
like our love probably does now
but I guess my resolve is not that strong,

I really want to hate you but I just can't
Since I know our love had a clause death's got dominion over.
Still, I can't help but wonder
If you were the one who couldn't wait for death
Or vice versa, but either way, you left me.

Mara,
Everybody is saying you're in heaven, in some paradise
but I don't care for I no longer wish you well
neither do I wish you evil,
This is simply the end of another fiary tale.
But, should the end of your life be the end of our love?

Can you still love me wherever you are?
