When we were Young,
Our hearts were light and free,
And our legs ready to dance to joy.

When we were Young,
Love was easy and carefree,
Giving was seen as a nature not obligation.

When we were Young,
We were careless,
We thought we had all the time.

When we were Young,
We loved as we wanted,
We hated as we please

When we were Young,
We thought we knew it all,
But wisdom was never our strong suit.

When we were Young,
We thought our youth will last,
We forget it was just a phase.

Now we are old,
Old enough to know the difference,
To know that life is different when you are old.

The word 'young' should begin with a small letter throughout the piece, so we don't think you're making reference to someone's name.
