Can we bring back yesterday?
Can we place a stop on the clock at 12?
Can we keep it going like we just started?
Can we escape in the land of timeless?
It's the wishes of those days past,
When we hope, after time is lost.
It's the pain of looking back,
After doing things we regret.
Give me today, so I can do the best I can.
Today is all I have.
Yesterday is gone.
Tomorrow, I know not what to expect.
I have today to show you,
That when the earth revolves over and over,
And the earth rotates on its axis,
