From moments of stillness,
The body laid calm,
Yet the soul stepped out to seek.
In the seasons of numbness,
Storm raged inside,
Waiting to breakthrough,
Bars of many emotions held it down.
Oh how the storm raged inside!
The words sat down heavily on my heart,
Breathing is hard, coming out in gasps.
I need to take that step, nothing less.
