THE TREASURE BENIGHT

Oh, I see a world from from a distance

I really do not know the essence

The truth behind the scenes as I took just a glance.

At the surface the scales

The outer look a shell

But within what I desire.

Look, look, look again, stare not once

Look critically

Dig deep within

The ground even when arid

Beneath is the treasure we seek.

Judge not with the eyes

Find the voice within

The heart, what you see is that which you seek

Only if you look again.

The treasure benight is worth more than what you see at a glance.

Little as it seems

Bigger it is

It appears less

So to be found by those who search truly.

Innovate, adapt and enjoy: A poem about survival

My child, this world is not for the weak,

It is not for those who are meek,

If you must enjoy this world,

You must be strong.

Like the elephant, you must be strong,

Or you will be wronged,

Nature is brutal and cruel,

You have to be on cue.

The serpent is crafty and wise,

Its eyes are fierce and its tail agile.

To scare off foes, you must be cunning

Burning on the outside but still a hunnie.

If you must grow old,

Be like water, unpredictable and cold,

Water flows and has no end,

Be water, my friend.
