Global warming which is an inevitable natural disaster is definitely a reality and not a myth.

Inevitable, in the sense that as technology is expanding, and citizen's populace is increasing, natural endowments which were meant to curb it are gradually being depleted on a daily basis. These natural resources such as trees, used to help to absorb the ultraviolet rays of the sun and prevent it from reaching us. The ozone layer which is of particular importance in relation to this, has been depleted to the minimal, with activities such as bush burning, cutting down of trees, thereby exposing us to the direct impact of the sun, leading to global warming.

Global warming is real and is a consequence of the human mismanagement of the environment. Here are two phenomena happening now that prove global warming:

1. The ice sheets that make up the Arctic are melting at a record all-time high. Icelands that sustain polar bears and penguins have swathes of themselves melted away. 

2. Sinking of islands. As more ice sheets melt away, so do the seas that take in the melted ice rise. What this does is that shorelines get eaten away by rising sea levels. 

We can change the way the planet reacts to our environmental sins by doing better. 

THE REALITY ON GLOBAL WARMING
Global warming is real. Nothing other than the rapid rise of greenhouse gas emissions from human activity can fully explain the dramatic and relatively recent rise in global average temperatures.
In recent years, global warming and climate change have been the subject of a great deal of political controversy, especially in the US. But as the science becomes clearer and consensus grows impossible to ignore, debate is moving away from whether humans are causing warming and toward questions about how best to respond
Evidence of rising temperatures is pervasive and striking. Thermometer records kept over the past century and a half shows Earth's average temperature has risen more than 1 degree Fahrenheit (0.9 degrees Celsius), and about twice that in parts of the Arctic. All of these changes are emerging as humans continue to add heat - trapping greenhouse gases to the atmosphere. Therefore the above facts proves that global warming is a reality and not a myth
