THE WOMAN WE WANT
There is a lady who sits in the corner,
Listening to the hopeless voices and pronouncing her name silently.
The first time she spoke without permission, every word out of her mouth was like a riot.
Say brave,
And wear your skin like a gown or a suit.
Say hero,
And cast yourself in the lead role.
This is how she created a new world,
This is how she made a history,
By letting it known that "If this hope reborn is the only thing that survives me."
I grew a new tongue,
I build myself a throne.
We discovered life on another planet;
It was a woman,
She built a bridge, not a border.
A woman you might break down temporarily,
But always picks up the pieces,
Rebuilds herself,
Then comes back even stronger than ever.
A woman of strength, courage and dignity;
A woman who values herself and fights for what she believes in.
A woman who will never give up on her dreams,
Regardless of how many obstacles on the way:
A woman with the ability to transfigure realities,
Empower other women, turn hands.
That woman is you.
If all these don't make you beautiful,
I don't know what does.
