#Day19
It was raining heavily John came back from school late. His mum stood in front of their gate waiting for him, “what Happened”, she said. John couldn’t explain he just walked quietly inside the house. His mind pondered on the incident that happened on his way back from school, “he saw his soul leaving his body, how is that possible” he said to himself.
John was born with a special gift, his mum hardly shouts at him because she knew there was always a genuine reason for his action. So when he didn’t come back home on time, she was just worried. Mrs Agnes knew something was wrong with her son but she decided to let him rest for a while before she could talk to him. “Mum mum wake up” he shouted. Mrs Agnes rushed into the room “what is it my son I am not sleeping”, “I…I….”, He stammered. Hugging him she said “all would be fine”. John’s body was so hot That she felt her cloth was burning, “my poor baby you have a fever, let me get the first aid box”, she said and laid him down to rest.
“Why am I looking at my body” John asked himself in fear. The door opened and his mum came in, “ mum am sorry for coming back home late but what really is going on”. There was no response from his mum, rather she paid attention to his body on the bed. “No no my only son you can’t be dead”,his mum said. “I am not dead can’t you see I am standing next to you”, he replied but there was no response from her. He became frightened, “mum can’t you see me” he said in a fragile voice. She carried his body in her arms, “wake up son please don’t do this to me” she cried. John tried touching her and his hands couldn’t feel her body he tried it three times, “no! This can’t be true”, he shouted . Only then he realized he was dead.
