I thought her ordinary
Felt she was just a tool;
My forever fool
Initially when I wanted her, she was pretty
Got her and suddenly in my eyes she turned petty
She talked slutty when I wanted to talk dirty
She cried with me when I scored out of hundred, a thirty
She became a doctor when sickness made me sweaty
And because of these I thought her lower in class compared to Betty
I took her for granted
I expected her to endure whatever insults I said
Expected her apology after known lies I to her fed
Expected her to accept she was at fault when alcohol made my eyes red
At first I took it a blessing when she from me fled
I cried and none was there to console me
None to clap at my songs
None to make me forget a day full of wrongs
None to echo my praises across the lawns
None to make me forget my falls
None to say to me, I love you without cause
In the sweetest of foods I found bitterness
Pictured horror in comedy movies
Saw only darkness in the brightest of days
Alas, I thought your leaving was freedom
But in this freedom I became a slave.
As I kneel at your doorstep with tear filled eyes
I promise to be better
To attend to your issues now, not later
To be your hater's hater
And to be one that cherish you as a lover
Please kindly offer a second chance to this sinner
