A POUND OF FLESH
Looking at his lifeless body,
Bathed in blood,
Satisfied I became,
All because of love!
He'd cheated on me,
He'd replaced me with another,
It was never going to work,
Vengeance executed!
It was for better, for worse,
Not for cheating, for cheating;
He got served what he deserved,
Death served him right!
He took my love as a loan,
I took his life as a collateral;
He owed death a debt,
A pound of flesh served!
When next he comes to life,
He won't repeat this;
Reincarnation may take place,
But he won't dare come near me!
