As I stare at a beauty that puts Venus to shame,
I smiled knowing for sure
If I struggle this day for breath
I'll do it with the gladness of heart.
Relying solely on your melted scent on my body
To pave way for me even in the underworld
Who can resist the residue you left behind?
Who can ignore the source of life?
Looking at my priceless possession
Of greater and far enduring value than diamond.
Lost in thoughts I can but wonder,
With pondering questions that have eluded the greatest of minds.
Were you created?
Or from thee all that was wondrous made?
For if tomorrow never comes,
Today was enough to cover a lifetime that might be lost.
Bestowed with the rarest of heart,
You stole mine with your smile and dimples.
Yea I've been made mortal with your Midas touch,
Like a million electricity surging through my vein.
As I watch you in awe,
The perfect picture of undiluted love,
Our Cupid can be brought to life
On a memorable night like this.
