REPORT

Good evening, this is the ANSA news for week two, September. This is Victor Apata reporting.

The new week opened on Sunday, 8th of September, 2019. There was the unveiling of the list of winners for the just concluded ANA Kogi writing contest. Two of ANSA writers topped the list. MaynahTheWriter emerged as the winner, while Muyibat came second. The results for the ANSA contests, week one, produced just a winner, which was in the poetry category, while other categories produced no winner.

On Monday, September 9, 2019, there was the ANSA poet of the week contest. There were a few entries by some participants in the group. There were also collabo entries.

On Tuesday, 10th of September, 2019, MaynahTheWriter taught the group a word-- Concerted; there was also the ANSA story contest and flash fiction contest. There were interesting stories posted on the page.

On Wednesday, 11th of September, 2019, there was the Children's Literature contest and collabo contest, but there was no entry for the category. MaynahTheWriter also elucidated to us on how to use a vocabulary--- Louver.

On Thursday, September 12, 2019, there was the drama contest, also the collabo contest. There were no entries for the contests. MaynahTheWriter threw light on another word, Olfactory.

On Friday, 13th of September, there were contests on non-fiction, quote of the week, reporter of the week and literary critique of the week. One of the writers on the group, Mumeen continued his series titled, SWITCH IV. MaynahTheWriter also took us on the word, Torso. Two writers on the group expressed their frustration on how to write a nonfiction, with one hoping to learn, while the other showed no interest. We also wished fellow writers in the house, Adeyemi Samuel, Agbo Favour, Precious Abdullahi and Ogheneruona Okome a very happy birthday.

Good to have an entry for this contest this week.

The title is rather incomplete. You should reflect in your title what the report is all about.

You also missed a few other details.

Not only two members of ANSA emerged top in the 2019 ANA/Yusuf Ali Short Story Writing Competition for Tertiary Institutions. All Top 10 were members of ANSA!

Other aspects of the report could equally be more detailed (and more accurate)!
