April fool
On this day,
People's joy were robbed with joke
Many were fooled which resulted to laughter
Some were ignorant, it hurts, deep in their mind
But it's world's fool day, everyone was okay.
Look at this old mum
Breathing heavily, running from one end to another
Someone told her "your son had an accident"
It was a joke that almost cost mama her life
Mama never knew it's world's fool day.
Look at this loverboy who wept out his lungs
She only texted him "it is over, i have my reasons"
He felt heart broken, but his lover only fooled him
What have I done wrong?, he questioned himself
It's world's fool day, how come he forgot so soon?
Like an iced water,
People's hearts are melt to liquid
Like little children believe everything that drops in their ears
They believed lies with ease.
The wise elders turned to babies even with their wisdom.
On this day,
There are many fools fully ready to fool
Though with an instinct to give the heart joy
And to trick many people with mockery
Shame on all who fall a victim, you're fooled
Many became ministers of lying affairs
They serve people lies in clean dishes
Even the devil had to envy them
Who taught them all they do?
Even the men of wisdom gave room to their lies to rest in their hearts.
Yes! They became fools fooled by fools.
