Sombre reflections on a summer evening,
The joy in my heart seems to be waning,
Am I such a dunce?
Even if it's once,
Thoughts echoing like a banshee wailing.

My demons came like a thief in the night,
Like several bleeders, they took away my might,
The ruins of my past,
Put on me a cast,
Stealthily, they dimmed my vivid foresight.

I had a dream that dwindled my courage,
Putting me a fear veiled with stark rage,
A petite young lad,
With hopes now clad,
My demons soaring free out of hell's cage.

The ding in my head was their arrival,
Like a knight, I prepared for survival,
This was a war call,
I won't take the fall,
Deep down in me, I knew it was suicidal.

This evening, I won't plunge into cowardice
My tail not between my legs , I'm cold as ice,
Not a trace of fear,
Their end drew near,
I will saunter this aisle into paradise.

A rude awakening from my reflection,
Cloudy horizon, a nice digression,
The rain is coming,
Such perfect timing,
But can the rain alleviate my depression?.
