There's this white light in a neighbouring mosque,
As old as the van but still works.
It has a handle which holds it up high,
from where it radiates its light.
Its face is pure white, like the snow.
It shines on heads of people, who come and go.
Oh what a light is it!
That helps everyone to clearly see.
It keeps darkness out of sight,
and brings to reign, its light.
That's generosity borne in its vein,
only if all men could learn this way.
Then, we would have luminaries all over the world.
Luminaries as generous as this bulb.
That keeps darkness away from people's reach.
Oh what a light is it! That makes everyone to clearly see.
