Death Angel
I see soul leaving body,
Like the fall of flower on winter day,
Mothers suddenly become childless,
Orphans covered their eyes, licking their tears,
I see bullets tossing down from above,
Hitting men, sending them to their knees,
They killed their brother, they are death angels.
I see faceless visitor knocking doors,
They strip beloved away from families,
They lost the other side that has human feelings,
They walk about with souls of the devil,
Dear brother, be cautious of where you dwell,
Like tot we hold hands as we quiver,
They are near, please we need a helper.
Here they are, we see angels of death.
Children were nurtured from infant,
Mothers hope shattered before their feet,
They have blood in their thighs during child born,
Here is another dripping their cheek bone,
We sleep now with our eyes open,
Our children death is now too often,
We see them, they've lost their mind.
Ebira ocean of peace have been drained,
It's another year, election raining blood,
Others took to their heel, many injured,
They've refused to listen, thuggery does not pay,
Don't just blame politicians, oh nay,
Look at their parents, they have something to say,
We see them killing their brothers, oh we do.
The dark cloud will go, Light shall come,
Politics will go, leaving you alone,
Where will you go, will you hide?
For the love of money, you killed your alike,
Sometimes you embark on a self errand,
The things you take have removed your valued side,
Our country men act before they think,
Oh politicians! stop playing politics with our lives,
Tell thugs to find job, they already go reek,
Give them job, this is all we seek.
