Here lies few souls

Many more souls

Stricken and beaten

With scorpion and love

Even with the concept

Of Democracy

we only see demons-crazy and few tap mouths and pot-bellies gulping our many heads

The hegemony of hate remains our watchword

We've been balkanized in spattered bottles

A flick of feet on us reclines as explosives

We copied the good bad-ness of USA leaving the goodness of democracy for our families and it's stench for everybody

May we be found from our lost-ness when we chose to lose our ambitions to redeem this quagmire called Nigeria.

Message well delivered. Try use small words for big words instead. 

Last stanza:

"...when we chose to lose our ambitions to"

I believe the word should be 'choose'.
