11:30 pm

It's the period dedicated to rest and
I'm trying to close these eyes
But they have refused all my efforts.
Besides, this body itself is not yet
willing to succumb to sleep,
So rather than become scared,
I've begun to see the night as an entity
that feeds on sleepless souls like mine;
Ravaging and showing her strength over people like me and those asleep too.

00:00

I've decided to stare into the darkness
she adorns, since closing or opening
my eyes poses no difference at this time.
Without doubt i'm sure she's staring back at me,
Knowing I must be writing an elegy
That's got something to do with her.
Perhaps the darkness
Is the channel into
my mind and her emptiness,
the void of my soul.

5 A.M

I'm hearing crows, morn is upon us.
Tell me, the attribute that distinguishes
The morn from the night.
Perhaps the morn is as empty
as the darkness or because to me
It's another day of regret for existing here...

Will you please sing me a lullaby?

Creative piece!

You shouldn't use symbols to represent words ('&' instead of 'and').

You also didn't use pluralisations well in S1L2:

I'm trying to close this (these) eyes...
