The gates of Hades shone with glittering lights,
The boatman with a cheeky smile waits for his coin,
Everything seemed peaceful as life drained away,
The shadow of death Wasn't dreadful as they say.
A light beaming at the end of the tunnel,
Clouding every trace of darkness in the horizon,
An aura of great serenity breezed my soul,
Onto life I held on,
I wouldn't look up, I wouldn't open my eyes,
Lest I lose this battle of tranquility,
Beeping sounds in my head for a while,
The cloud of white was leaving my sky.
The beeping chimed louder at gates of Hades,
A rumbling in the horizon caught my attention,
I was brought into a new light,
Faces familiar crowded my puzzled face.
