Blissful days and merry nights are what they see,
A chirpy man with princely stance,
The captain of the big ship far down the sea,
Such grace allured him from a distance,
The epitome of perfection for years to come,
The new messiah to some.

People gathered each morning round the old ferry,
The bonny man sailing under the morning sky
A sight to behold for all and sundry,
Gait so straight and chin so high,
The sea pays allegiance to him,
Surging him forward in a wavy beam.

All alone in the sea of my thoughts,
Tilting the sails of my crumbling ship,
Unto me only my shadow soughts,
Day and night i fight anchoring with my whip,
If only they saw the scars beneath my auburn hair,
The darkness beneath my skin so fair.

The tides from afar seems gentle as the fantasy trolls,
A picture I reflected in the mirrors of their being,
Inking godly apparel in their scrolls,
Tis so sweet feeding on what they are seeing,
Beauty encapsulating eons of fading,
papering cracks of muffled wailing.

I sail alone on the stormy seas of my tears,
With the comfort of a dying core,
And the world from afar in glamorous cheers,
Calling my name from the shore,
Smiling and waving with teary face away,
This perfect imagery must now not sway.

S3L3... "Unto me only my shadow soughts"

Doesn't sound right with the last word.
