BEHIND THE BEAUTIFUL MAKE-UP

Behind the beautiful make-up
Is a heart full of pain;
The smile you see
Is just a mask over her pain

The bed has become a place
Where solace is found;
The heart is full worries--
A world no one can see

She has been called a mistake,
And now her life, she looks to take;
Care and love are absent in her life,
Oppression and hate are presentees

No one to hear her out,
No one she could speak with,
No one to read through her thoughts,
No one to comfort her

A letter she has dropped,
Poison she has consumed;
Gone she will be soon,
A life of pain and regrets, she'd have lived
