Candle lit
Two shadows
Distance closed.

Racing hearts
Parted lips
Gentle kisses
Shut eyes.

Deep breaths
Silent hums
Bent heads
Squinted eyes.

Demanding bodies
Knocked door
Opened eyes
Distant bodies.

Opened door
Uninvited lover
Heart broken
Unceasing tears
