A MOMENT
For a moment,
I thought we had a moment
Was I wrong?
Or was I right?
You fiddle with my heart
An unstable person,
You swerve
Becomes wanton.
I was wrong.
The Moment I thought we had
Was never a moment
But another trick of yours.

This poem should have been a sonnet. The poet personae gives us an idea of what idealism is all about when it comes to matter of love. But the word fiddling with the heart and another heart trick brings the reader to the reality that there's a thin line between love and infatuations.
The title also emphasises the fact that the relationship isn't a long-term one and not necessarily based on mutual understanding. A kind of parasitic affair with the prey getting manipulated.
The poem is simple to understand and relate with. I did not see enough use of puns which is quite achievable. The message is straight to the point and the tone is that of lamentation.
A few figures of speech can enhance this poem...
