#DAY 27
When life finally catches up, how will it deal with me?
Will I be made to encounter failures
that are yet to be encountered before
or made to receive devastating news
That has never been told or heard by anyone before?
Will It be so bad that I'll be tempted to
take the route some have taken out of here;
A highway of surrender, where men and women
succumb to nooses or razors or toxicants.
When life knocks on my door,
Will I be struck with blows that will make
me unable to discern friends from foes?
Will life hurt me so bad that ministers will because of me,
stand on pulpits and tell congregations stories of Golgotha again?
When life catches up,
Will I be lucky to rise above it?
Or will I end up six feet beneath this grime
after been inflicted with enough of life's worst?
