MAD?
I don't know who I am now or who
I will be tomorrow.
Everytime I stare into the mirror or anything
That can really show me what I look like,
I see different images, some repeating and
Some different from the one I last saw.
Sometimes I'd look like a prisoner in chains,
Imprisoned in a cell of inferiority complex,
Wondering why I don't look good
Like the people on TV adverts.
There are also times when
I see myself as a caged soul
Locked in my flesh and willing to free itself.
How long will I continue on this hopeless sail?
Even the passing waves mocks me.
There are days when my reflection depicts horror,
Like scenes that scares children in movies.
Even I, gets scared of the mad person
Always smiling back at me in the mirror.

Tomorrow, when I stare at my reflection,
I hope to see the profile of a sane and smiling person.
