Day 11
DEATH
Two things scares me;
Death and life itself.
I'm scared of death because it is a respecter of none,
Today it takes the wicked and tomorrow it might
Decide to chew on the innocent–
Innocents who will probably be victims of a bullet straying from a gun.
No man can escape death.
If you run from it, it finds you at the end.
Some, at tender ages, get to descend
Six feet beneath here, while others are lucky to get spent.
Life is scary because it saps us then give us up
To its brother, the one who knows
no other thing than feed on our bloods and
every other thing that gives us life.
We struggle throughout life.
But to what end do we do that?
To live? To death?
Do we exist to just die?
Is it safe to say we are slaves to life &
that we are loyal subjects to death?
Death is a misery that we can not escape,
Many are here today but tomorrow they are gone,
Death is a daily partner that will never let us be,
Many are captured when their light already starts to shine,
Dear brothers! don't forget your final abode,
Do not be carried away for here is not home.
