BEAUTY

#DAY 29

The zephyr is soothing as I gaze
into the distance on this sandy shore.
My eyes is focused on the sea but my
mind is so lost that I'm oblivious of the bright
sun savoring my dark skin.

I'm awestruck by the beauty of everything I'm seeing,
The shiny lustre of the dolphins leaping out
of the water, the birds flying around and
The unending stretch of the sea and the sky above.

All these would have mattered less,
If you were not standing next to me
for your eyes reflects the beauty of the sky
and the sea, while your bod is another shore
Where I want my footprints to be plastered on forever.
