Day 2

A LOVE LETTER IN VERSES

Can you tell by just a single look?
How absorbing my eyes are,
Do you see me as the most cryptic of books?
That you just can't seem to understand.

Can you tell by just a look or even more?
What I might feel for you. Perhaps you can, perhaps not
For I even though I'm crazy about you,
The mask I wear knows neither love nor hate
But it can resonate when it is shown the former.

Are you scared of approaching me?
I really want to walk up to you but
You know I can't do that,
A very large chunk of my gender are the ones that get walked up to
We conceal our desires for any man beneath this flesh
Leaving them to unravel in tiny bits.

I know it's hard for you to get it but
I'm human just like you, without balls though & I have desires
deep down within me & you should know that I may have eyes and heart made of solid ice,
With a running and loose mouth that you're scared of
Coupled with a beautiful face that doesn't look nice.

But,
These solid features, although pronounced
Can under a single touch of yours, melt.

For I'm hiding a thousand words under this bland look & you
won't get to see the passion that hovers round me
If you try drawing a message from my bland eyes.

This mouth will never voice out my feelings no matter how hard I try...

If only you'll give me a hand and help me spew it all
By walking up to me & saying the pledge of all lovers: 'I love you'.

Yours faithfully,
The one that won't stop staring.
