A new day has unfolded,
A cock has crowed for all to get out of bed,
The morning dew has wet the grasses,
The sun has poked its head out of the cloud,
Peeped through our windows,
And shone on our faces,
To notify us that it's a jewel's birthday.
All heading to the palace,
Which is the celebrant's venue of celebration,
We heard the melodious voices of angels;
We locked eyes,
Our lips curled upward
As dimples formed on our faces.
We saw the celebrant,
Oh, it's a Queen!
Her eyes lit with happiness,
The fragrance emanating from her
Was like the flowers
And sweet-scented herbs from the heaven.
Home we went,
At the balcony we stood,
Looking up the sky.
Night's celestial bodies glittered,
As nature played its music.
Soon, the cloud rumbled,
And it began to rain;
Oh, a queen has been born.
