From the moment she found out there was life growing inside her
She began to prepare, for the journey is far
Her body underwent so many changes in a short while
But all these she bore for the joy that was set ahead of her
Deep inside she knew he was no ordinary child
Nine months later, her bundle of joy had finally arrived
With tears of joy she thanked the heavens for bestowing upon her a blessing she so desired
She quickly marked that date for all through his life, he'll celebrate the day he was birthed.
She gave her all to nurture him
Whatever he needs she would give
Taught him what a true gentleman ought to be
Lessons she pounded into his ears so he would never forget
But how could he? For he cherished her words and took it to heart
In wisdom and understanding the child grew
And even his peers knew
That he would bring about something new
Many years down the line and he that was once a child is now a man
Touching and impacting young hearts
Inspiring the young generation to reach for the stars
A shining example of selflessness and sacrifice
Always speaking words that edify
Yea...many a words can be used to describe the doctor called Ken
But all will fail to actually capture his essence
A blessing to many and more
We celebrate you today and days to come
God bless the womb that conceived you
God bless the arms that nurtured you
As you add another year, I pray for you
Whatever you need may the Lord provide
Through life, may God be your guide
Against all evil, He will be your guard
Your family rise and call you blessed
Your footprints in the sands of time will forever remain
All you've done for us, We won't forget neither will it go stale
May God bless you and cause you to flourish
