IN SILENCE WE DIE
Waist bent, patella down, hands holding our heels
"War-Chariman" chants, mouths shut to accountability
Our hands like flail, holds their posters stagnant in the air
"Your honour" never ceased from our mouth, but our lips fail to trend their ill-governance
In our inner room are numerous thorns that pierce us
The inner part of our garment is fire that fry us
But, in silence we watch the thorns taint our body
And the fire in dumbness rip off our skin
Our silence moved us to the rooms they kept for fools
And to the apartment they built for "holy-idiots".
If our lips refuse to trend their ill governance
I fear the future of doom we're preparing for our children with our silence.
