Verification of Information Validity Before Dispensation on Social Media.
It is of no news today that people are more fast to dispensing invalid informations also called “rumors,” than they are to actually verifying the authenticity of this information.
This act is one that has become rampant in our society today, where untrue informations are spread about people or events. The major victims of this unruly act are usually the “celebrities.” Many of them suffer for the insensitive behaviors of some people in the society, especially the social media users.
This act is gradually becoming cyber bullying and has led to some consequences such as Suicidal, low self esteem and frustrations of the victims.
The non verification of the validity of information before dispensation is one that is ought to be curbed in the society.

Humans are driven by their desires and not by the aftermath. This also determines the duration of such an acquaintance to stay.
I shall start with bloggers, social media had grown to the extent that everybody wants to be the first to relay the news to the masses, most times without even verification of the true value.
Tracing back to the horrible incident in the life of one Nigerian celebrity, it was a case of life and death. Ignorant of that fact, people boldly come out either with an article or a video to talk about the story which was untrue and unknown to them.
Just for views and likes.
