Cyberbullying! It is much a serious issue for persons connected to the digital world across varying ages especially teenagers and young adults. As difficult a menace it is to regulate there are a few effective ways to counteract this alarming issue.

First is a proper education on its ills and effects, how harmful it can be and the proper response to give when one falls a victim.

The use of technological tools helps disarm the weaponry of the perpetuators of cyber bullying.

Lastly and of course the use of the law and authority against those who promote and advocate cyberbullying

Cyberbullying is the act of picking on or intimidating someone with the use of digital technologies. It can take place on social media.

One of the major ways of counteracting cyberbullying is by educating the cyber users about informed ways of using the cyber space. This is because, when a purpose of a thing is not known, abuse would be inevitable.

Moreso, Technology companies should pay attention to the issue of online bullying by introducing ways to address it and better protect their users with new tools, guidance and ways to report online abuse. As such, penalties should be melted on perpetrators.

Social media groups that encourage cyberbullying should be reported appropriately. And those ones that are against cyberbullying should be encouraged to thrive.

This fight against cyberbullying should be encouraged by all stakeholders. As such, all hands should be on deck to frown at cyberbullying.
