Sometimes, you wake up and try to reason everything going on.

Are you doing it right? Is it going well?

You try to see the light but all is surrounded by darkness.

You hope for someone to hold you but there is no one.

The lonely and dark path to get where you want to be is scary.

You cry. You hear shouts but realize it's all in your head.

You want to get out of this place, this feeling, but it's tough.

The whispers, the cool and painful breeze encompasses your mindset.

But you have to keep walking, you have no choice.

Hoping soon enough, you see the light.

The path before me bends and turns

Fears beneath my skin

Reach out

Darkening the mid day sun

I call out and my echo responds

Every step

Threatening to send my soul

Headlong into the debts of Hades

Yet

They had said the road less travelled

Would get me to my destination

Faster than I could say

Jack Robinson

Unlike Crusoe

I fancy not life adventures

I desire company

But the journey of discovery

Leads me through misty forests

Home to the mystic

Unaccompanied

This road before me bends and turns

Fears keep success at bay

And the gray blinds me to opportunity

The mid day sun shines

Yet clouded skies hide the light
