EXAMINING THE ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE
Although privatisation has always been attributed to "incompetence" and lack of proper standard, yet, it is pertinent to note that the significance of privatisation cannot be under-estimated. Hence, an examination of what is meant by PRIVATE health insurance, its advantages and disadvantages.
Private health insurance, to my understanding, refers to an organisation owned by an individual to see to the wellness of others. Its advantages include:
Easy access to treatment. Access to treatment is usually made easy as a result of facilities.
It can save time and cost. Since access is made easy, there are tendencies that "demanding" cost will be saved, as well as time.
Its disadvantages are seen from the fact that there are no quality or qualified personnel to provide reliable services or treat people.
