The Library
My belles lettres,
Filled specially in cricks of racks;
My braced empress.
Another world it is,
Tribes are a handful that I can't choose.
Tribalism it hunts.
Great Books, philosophy regards,
Just in papers, a new world envelopes minds,
Words flowing from the minds, writers I praise!
Varieties in language, visions, lifestyle,
Nigeria is never be compared to;
Still siting at one pace in peace despite the variables.
The library, I choose to believe you have life,
Inside your cavity I feel surrounded;
I had better of lived in you than face life outside of you.

The importance of reading: A poem about success
Too many books to read, you whine,
But is it not better to read than to cry?
Reading is not as difficult as it looks.
You just have to make love with the books.
Why relax on stools, when you can rule?
You are what you read, they keep saying.
How can you improve without reading?
Reading opens up your mind and heart,
To possibilities you never thought about.
Reading is a key ladder to success.
By now, that should be easy to process.
