transmutate into a wall bursting of life.
These are the effect of this picture.
BRUSHES.
The precise motion of the wooden pane,
dragging along laughingly.
Giving every stroke is a refreshing
upsurge of energy.
My thoughts hold the pane,
whilst my pen paints the canvas.
COLOURS.
A spectrum of tailored light
translating into patterns.
Your sight swirls round
the colours of my scribbling.

The mainland is an artistic
silhouette of life, reeking of ingenuity.
Etching of a suited fellow with empty briefcase
swimming in the ocean of noise,
with no hope of breakfast to shut it up.
Market women exchanging banters like baton.
Street urchins that never cease buying
drinks that makes eyes hot on credit.
The fear of Lastma is the beginning
of a good race — motto for men behind
the yellow buses.
With the bridge that separates them,
the painter's strokes are extravagantly
left on the canvas of the other land.
The Island — higher than the low lands.
Posh settings.
Where you get your haircut twice the price
you get a sneakers on the mainland.
Where you have the latest Range Rover
with no room to call yours.
