When I was a toddler, I heard life is a teacher.
I walked beyond my pace to meet the race of life.
I ran beyond my age to see the phase of the first set.
But suffering showed me the face of the real world
And here I am lonely but with my belly shouting.
When I was a kid, momma told me to dream.
that little and little, eventually, I will live it.
I dreamt of me in the sun ruling like a light king.
Then I grew and the tables turned.
The sun scorched and I couldn't sit
to rule; I could even see my seat.
Here I am ruled of day and night!
Papa pictured the future
And placed my future
In the chalk.
I held the gadget of the white
For years till I became wise.
I ate the vomits of yesterday
That pen is a mirror
To the world of money,
I grew up embracing pen,
I stood up mapping the map
I never knew I would only
See in paper
For the horrors tag me minor
And in my room, I glance
At the papers
My sweat made...
But we were wrong growing up,
we saw life as the image of a mirror
but life isn't that but a refracted light
forming images passing through media.
It bends through oily and greasy times,
and then it stands during windy climes.
Life is an irony, wish we'd known at my prime.
