At the time when siblings were contraband, Father had seven.
Of all the seven daughters Father had, Monday was the most responsible. Her finger was chopped off when Thursday went out to play and lost a finger. “Be Brave” he told her, “this situation is dicey” but he eventually diced the poor thing.
Monday took good care of her sisters like the mother they never had, even as they took turns wearing the persona of Mother on their respective days of week. They couldn't risk being seen in public collectively.
Of all the seven daughters Father had, Monday was the most responsible. She wore Mother so well, she thought the shoe fits no other.
Today, we're mourning Monday because out of responsibility she plucked Tuesday's left eye, shot Wednesday to death. The geek of Friday who couldn't withstand the stress blew herself up. Her actions made Saturday jump to her death. And Sunday–Sunday received a bullet for Thursday.
Today, we're mourning Monday because she did all that on the grounds of her finger being sliced on account of Thursday.
After her death, what she didn't know was that Thursday was the strongest who believed the shoe fit them all.
