Had I Known
I was so afraid to fall In love deeply,
For mending a broken heart will not be easy.
I had rotten in that hell before,
And I don't want to be there anymore.
You engrossed me with your diamond lies,
And appeared to be good. Whereas, you're as bad as a rotten egg.
Regretting the moments I said 'yes,'
Moments when I believed I had,
Moments I believed I'd be taken.
So many believed that I am taken,
Not knowing I'd been taken for granted.
What if you had told me what you wanted?
Maybe your will would have changed my life's wheel.
At least, I wouldn't have ignored others.
But it's too late for me to realize this fact.
I lost all the sight I had for what was wrong,
And now you are gone.
You are with the love of your life,
And I am here alone,
Masking my tears — an unseen rain by all.
For as scorned as I am, hell hath no fury.
Woe unto the day I met you!
Woe unto the day I accepted you!
